"Trethias Island Afternoon"

This is one of my 'en plein air' original paintings on canvas of the view of Trethias Island (viewed from my Art Shack at Treyarnon Bay). When working outside the elements work both with me and against me so the rapid brushstrokes not only represent the movement of the water, but are also necessary as the salt air, warm sunshine and brisk wind helps the acrylic paint to dry much more quickly than when working in the studio. 

This original seascape painting is framed and ready to hang.
